My Top 5 albums i'm currently digging big:
1. Deadsy - Phantasmagore (Sophmore effort and it's HUGE HUGE HUGE. Great songwriting with a very unique sound. Think Type O Negative meets Kiss meets Orgy)
2. Norma Jean - Redeemer (The buzzsaw returns and continues to shred all conceptions of what a Christian hardcore band is supposed to sound like)
3. Gizmachi - The Imbuing (wow, just wow, i hope these guys get pushed to a major label, great band, lots of new sounds and new energy)
4. Flyleaf - Flyleaf (awesome rock band with a great front woman, she's got vocals that are killer, makes Evanescence sound PLAYED OUT)
5. Deftones - Saturday Night Wrist (album hasn't come out yet but they've leaked like 3 tunez which I'm totally crushing on, this will move up to #1 when it gets released and into my CD player guaranteed)
Check em out, cause they ALL RULE!!

1 Comments:
great lineup!!! mine...
1 - DEADSY/Phantasmagore. Although not their sophomore. they had at least one eponymous album prior to Commencement.
2 - Jucifer/If Thine Enemy Hungers. Jason bags on this band like I cap on his minivan.
3 - Gizmachi/The Imbuing. Commence the losing of your poop.
4 - Living Sacrifice/Reborn. 1997 never rocked this hard. Wiki'd under 'Christian Death Metal' ROFL
5 - Norma Jean/Redeemer. Not quite Oh, God. The Aftermath. But very close. Should have ended the LP at track 11.
Most disappointing release of the fall:
Mastodon/Blood Mountain.
I.
just.
don't.
get.
it.
